About The Artist Jim spent his early years in his father's blacksmith shop, studied design at John Herron, and spent 25 years marketing and graphic arts and worked with an architectural design team in New York. Jim's work as designer-metal smith include architectural design, space planning and decorative iron projects. "Everything you see is a product of some facet of design, with varying degrees of beauty and efficiency.
