Sun King Brewing Company has once again partnered with the Stutz Artists Association, ZIPP SPEED WEAPONRY, and PRIZM Art Supply to offer another opportunity to celebrate the bicycle. Following last year’s successful event, “reCYCLE pARTS II” continues the community bicycle art project benefitting local charities, Freewheelin' Community Bikes and INDYCOG and International charity, World Bike Relief.

On Friday, May 2nd, 2014, the reception for “reCYCLE pARTS II” will take place at the Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery featuring 20+ local artists.  The event coincides with IDADA First Friday Gallery Tour around the city, and is the first of its kind in Indiana.  Artists were given the creative license to construct art pieces out of recycled bikes donated by non-profit organization Freewheelin' Community Bikes.  Artists had three months to create and submit their pieces to a jury panel of sponsors and event partners for selection.  The selected pieces will be displayed and for sale at the show opening with 30% of sales donated to charity.

The selected pieces will be on display (and offered for sale) at the Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery from May 2-30, 2014. The gallery is open from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, Thursday and Friday, or by appointment.
"Our mission at Sun King is 'Improving the lives of Hoosiers one pint at a time' and this event exemplifies that goal.  Helping put this one-of-a-kind event together has allowed us to engage so many organizations and people in central Indiana and we're excited to share it with everyone!"
