"Passions Collide - Paddlers and Artists Meet"
Reception, Silent Auction and Artist Awards on March 18, 6-9 PM
Artists were asked to think outside the Pink Ribbon concept with artwork focused on dragon-boat racing, a dragon, the strong spirited paddlers or teamwork.
Paddles are displayed on the Indy SurviveOars web page and in the Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery.
All the paddles will be displayed Monday - Friday, March 6-18, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm and sold at the March 18 event. Votes for the "Viewer's Choice" award will be collected all month at the gallery.
At the reception in the Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery on Friday, March 18, from 6-9 pm, the two winning artists will be awarded their cash prizes and bids will be finalized.
The SurviveOars are an Indy based breast cancer survivor group who participate in Dragon Boat racing to strengthen both physical and emotional health, endurance, self-confidence, and provide support for team members.
