As a graphic designer, Amy Kirchner focused on form for three decades. Eighteen years ago, she began to focus on fine art. That experience is evident in her abstract acrylic paintings. Using abstraction to explore forms, Kirchner’s sense of balance and use of both contrasting and complimentary palettes results in compelling compositions that offer an almost Zen sense of peacefulness. Her paintings earned the praise of art collectors almost immediately, and can be found in several regional, national, and international collections. She is represented in the US and abroad by Long-Sharp Gallery.
