AS I SEE IT . . .
Inspiration comes as I slow down and observe what my surroundings have to offer. My attention gravitates to color or light revealed in something simple. Often I’m impressed by the free-flowing movement and shapes of clouds; fleeting impressions become the catalysts for paintings. A painting is complete when I can see my original concept or influence realized in the image, whether that be in a realistic or more conceptual or abstract style.
